Save Our Cemeteries will be offering our popular “19th Century Mourning & Burial Customs Tours” again this fall in partnership with the Louisiana Landmarks Society. The tour showcases both the historic Pitot House museum and St. Louis Cemetery No. 3, with light refreshments to be served afterwards.

CEMETERY WALKING TOURS

Lafayette Cemetery No. 1 - in New Orleans' historic Garden District.
Daily at 10:30 am.

St. Louis Cemetery No. 1 - just outside the historic French Quarter.
Monday through Saturday at 10:00am, 11:30 am, and 1:00 pm. Sunday at 10 am.

St. Louis Cemetery No. 2 - a few blocks from the historic French Quarter.
This tour is only offered on the fourth Sunday of the month, and the second and fourth Monday of each month, at 10:00 am.

St. Louis Cemeteries nos. 1 & 2 Combo Tour - this combination tour is offered every Saturday, as well as on the second and fourth Wednesday of the Month, at 12:30pm.

Mourning in Louisiana Tour - Offered in partnership with Louisiana Landmarks Society. The tour showcases both the historic Pitot House museum and St. Louis Cemetery No. 3. Offered on Fridays in October and November only, at 1:30pm.

Reservations are required, so please book your tickets online. You must book online at least two hours before the tour begins.

 

PLEASE NOTE: Although SOC conducts tours 7 days per week, our office is closed on Saturdays, Sundays, and all major holidays. Office hours are 9 am to 5 pm CT, Monday through Friday.
