Volunteer Tour Guides
Want to be involved with Save Our Cemeteries in less official ways? We are always looking for great tour guides to lead our cemetery tours. If you are a tour guide licensed by the City of New Orleans and you’d like to volunteer to lead a cemetery tour, please contact Lora at programs@saveourcemeteries.org.
Other Individual Volunteer Opportunities
We also have many volunteer opportunities in the office working on special events like CemeteryScape or helping out our Education or Restoration committees. We also need help doing basic maintenance and minor restoration projects in the cemeteries. Whatever your interest, we can put you to work! Group Volunteer Opportunities
Looking for a volunteer opportunity for your school, church or corporate group? We always need help doing basic cemetery maintenance, vegetation removal & survey projects. To schedule a group volunteer project, please contact Mandy at membership@saveourcemeteries.org. Depending on the size & type of volunteer group, we may charge a small fee to cover our costs.
